Alyssa Milano ("Phoebe Haliwell")
Alyssa Milano is the daughter of Italian-American parents Lin, a fashion designer, and Tom, a film music editor. Alyssa was
born in a working class neighborhood in Brooklyn and grew up in a modest house on Staten Island.
One day, her babysitter, who was an aspiring dancer, dragged Alyssa along to a an open audtion for the first national tour
of Annie. But it was Alyssa, not the sitter, who beat out 1,500 other wanna be stage actresses to snag a role. So at the tender
age of seven, with her mother in tow, Alyssa joined the tour as July, one of the orphans.
After 18 months on the road, Alyssa, who had begun to garner a reputation as an energetic and charismatic young actress, left
Annie to be featured in off-Broadway productions and television commercials.
Then in 1983, at age 10, she landed her breakthrough role on the new sitcom "Who's the Boss?" as Tony Danza's saccharine sweet
daughter, Samantha Micelli, a kid whose native Brooklyn accent rivaled her TV dad's. In order for Alyssa to accept the gig,
the Milano family had to uproot and move 3,000 miles to Hollywood.
She currently holds the 8 year role of Phoebe Halliwell in Charmed

Brian Krause ("Leo Wyatt")
A native Southern Californian, Brian entertained the idea of acting while in high school. At the age of 16, he enrolled in
his first professional acting class and began working in television. Initially interested in a career in sports medicine,
he pursued a semi-professional soccer career with a traveling team. When he landed the lead role in a major motion picture
film, he gave up the cleats for a thespian mask.
Making his feature film debut in "Return To The Blue Lagoon," opposite Milla Jovovich, Brian went on to a number starring
roles in the theatrical releases "December," Stephen King's "Sleepwalkers," "The Liar's Club," "Kiss Of Fate," "Sight Unseen"
and "Mind Games."
Currently Brian can be seen as Leo Wyatt, the supernatural guardian of the bewitching Halliwell sisters, on the WB television
series "Charmed." Before landing his recurring role, he had supporting roles in multiple telefilms, guest-starred on "Walker,
Texas Ranger" and was series regular Matthew Cory on the daytime drama "Another World."

Kaley Cuoco ("Billie")
Her acting career began at a young age, appearing in commercials and modeling. She landed her first feature film role at the
age of eight in Virtuosity, and has been keeping busy ever since. Kaley's additional theatrical film credits include Picture
Perfect, Can't Be Heaven and Lucky 13.
Kaley's television credits include a starring role in the series Ladies Man, along with guest appearances on 7th Heaven, Northern
Exposure and My So-Called Life.
Strange coincidences were on Kaley's side when she guest starred on Ellen, where she played young Ellen in flashbacks. She
later portrayed Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady) in the television film Growing Up Brady. She then went on to appear again
with DeGeneres on The Ellen Show — this time playing the daughter of actress Maureen McCormick's character.

Watch Charmed on TNT at 9am/8am central and 6pm/5pm central on weekdays and on The WB on Sundays at 8pm/7pm central.

Holly Marie Combs ("Piper Halliwell")
Lauralei Combs was only 15 years old when she gave birth to Holly. Holly's parents' marriage only lasted two years. Mother
and daughter lived near the beach in San Diego until Holly was eight. After that she lived with her mother and stepfather
in New York City. All three lived with Holly's grandmother at one point. They lived in a long series of small studio apartments,
never living in one place for very long. Holly says she is now a pack rat because she never had any place to keep things while
she was growing up. She also blames her passion for interior decorating on her gypsy-like childhood. Instead of constantly
moving, she now constantly redecorates her house in the San Fernando Valley. She spent four years looking for the right house
to buy. The deciding factor was a large kennel for her dogs. She also has two horses which she keeps at a nearby stable. Until
recently, Holly's mother was living in her guest room. She was previously married to actor Bryan (Bugsy) Smith. They divorced
in 1996, after four years of marriage.
Holly's mother, Lauralei, has worked as an actress and a singer. Her stepfather is a musician. While living in New York, Holly
attended the Professional Children's School, a prep school for aspiring entertainers. At the age of eleven, she got her first
movie role in the 1985 film "Walls of Glass."
Holly's first major success came when she was eighteen with a role on Picket Fences. The part was rewritten for her, but she
almost didn't get it. Her first meeting with David E. Kelley did not go well, but he ultimately decided to cast her and rewrote
the character to fit Holly's personality when he was unable to find anyone who fit the part. After insulting her in their
first interview, Kelley had to convince Holly to take the part. Of the incident, Holly says, "I had quite an attitude going."
She played Kimberly Brock for four seasons and now speaks very highly of David Kelley's talents.

Rose McGowan ("Paige Matthews")
Rose McGowan joined the cast of Charmed as Paige Matthews, a long-lost sister of the Charmed Ones.
One of six children, McGowan was a citizen of the world at an early age. Raised in Italy, she spent her childhood traveling
throughout Europe. She returned to the United States to attend high school in Seattle, Washington.
A chance trip to Los Angeles resulted in her being cast in the film The Doom Generation. Her performance in Gregg Araki's
dark and stylish road movie earned her a nomination for Best Newcomer at the 1996 Independent Spirit Awards. Also in 1996,
Rose appeared in Wes Craven's smash hit Scream as Sydney's (Neve Campbell) doomed best friend who met with an unseemly death
under a garage door.
Since this auspicious debut, McGowan has worked non-stop. In 1997, she had the distinction of starring in four films appearing
at the Sundance Film Festival: Going All the Way, Louis & Clark & George, Nowhere and the short film Seed. In 1998, Rose starred
with Ben Affleck and Peter O'Toole in the feature thriller Phantoms and in the independent film Southie, which won Best Picture
at the 2000 Seattle Film Festival.
Recent starring roles include the 1999 dark comedy Jawbreaker, about three high school girls who conspire to cover up the
accidental murder of their friend. In addition to her roles in Scream and The Doom Generation, McGowan was also seen in Monkeybone,
co-starring Brendan Fraser. She recently finished production on the independent film Vacuums which was co-written and directed
by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, the duo that created the Broadway hit Stomp.
McGowan currently lives in Los Angeles.
