is kicked off the basketball team for testing positive for drugs. Meanwhile, Keith is finding it hard to cope with popularity
after releasing his book on the Lilly Kane murder, Logan takes refuge from the paparazzi at Dick and Beaver's, and a field
trip to the local sports arena has shocking consequences.

After tragedy strikes Neptune, Calif. and the local sheriff rushes to judgment, an emotional Veronica attempts to help
a grieving family member rule out suicide as a contributing cause in the calamity. Meanwhile, Wallace offers to help transfer
student Jackie Cook, the fiery, flirty daughter of professional baseball player Terrence Cook, track down the person who damaged
her car in the school lot. Later, mayoral candidate Woody Goodman asks Keith to consider running for sheriff.

Beaver aka Cassidy asks Veronica to investigate his new stepmom Kendall and to find out if shes violating her pre-nup.
While investigating Kendall, she finds out that Beaver's dad is a real estate fraud. She also finds out that Kendall is having
an affair with Logan. Meanwhile, Veronica also investigates about the man found washed up on the beach with Veronica's name
on his hand after she is called into the station and is asked a few questions. She finds out that she and the man have
something shocking in common.

By sifting through a guy's background and by posing as an available coed, Veronica helps a young woman who thinks her new
boyfriend is after her fortune. Meanwhile, Keith stays at Alicia's to protect her from a man she says was her ex. Veronica
finds out that Duncan has gone to see Meg at the hospital everyday since the accident and didn't tell her.

Deciding to give Jackie the benefit of the doubt since she's dating Wallace, Veronica tries to help Jackie determine who
stole her credit card, leading Veronica to appear on a psychic's community access show to pursue a lead. Meanwhile, Wallace
confronts his mother Alicia about who his real father is. Later, Veronica learns of a voice mail recording from one of the
students that died, made at the moment the bus crashed.

Veronica is shocked when a dying Abel Koontz shows up asking for her help in finding his missing daughter before
he dies. Meanwhile, Logan is reunited with his father when he his arrested for Felix's murder, and Keith waits for the results

Duncan comes to Veronica with a plea to help him find out which one of the children Meg was babysitting was being
mentally abused by her parents by going undercover. Meanwhile, Dick, Beaver and Kendall are visited by their lawyer who informs

Veronica helps Keith determine who is haunting a school bus crash victim's parents, currently embroiled in a suit against

When Gia is convinced she's being stalked, Veronica takes the case despite her
